The Misophonia@School Handbook

Because of their particular behaviour, people with Misophonia is usually considered as non-social, psychologically weak, difficult, non-friendly. Only a deep and scientifically-based knowledge of the disease can help to go further this misconception and prejudice, and this regards school teachers as well as all educators from parents and families to other informal and non-formal contexts. The present Handbook provides methodological, educational and scientific guidelines dealing with the more recent findings on Misophonia and illustrating the innovative screening protocol established by the partnership and implemented in the Intellectual Output 1 (Mobile Application). The Handbook provides high quality contents because of the high scientific qualification of the project staff.
